Coordinating clothing for a photo shoot can sometimes be the hardest and most stressful part of planning the session. Its hard enough to plan for my family of 6 however the thought of having to get family members living outside my household to coordinate their clothing with us as well for a photo shoot is overwhelming to say the least.
As a Denver area family photographer for the last 10 years I have seen it all when it comes to clothing choices for sessions. For the longest time my clients were on their own when it can to choosing what to wear. Over time I learned however that many of my clients are overwhelmed by this task and really want help with it. In addition to helpful blogs and videos on this subject I offer as part of my service consultations on what to wear (typically via video chat or text) and use of items from my client wardrobe.
I would love to help make your next shoot stress free by helping you with this but in the mean time I hope this video on what to wear for an extended family session helps give you some inspiration!
Here is one of my favorite images from the family session mentioned in the video! Didn’t they do a great job coordinating?
I hope the video was helpful but if you need some more color inspiration here are some color combinations you could use for your session.
